Who we are
For the past 29 months, Rose Archer and her incredible team have created a unique experience in Bend, Oregon. They’ve transformed Rose’s home into an intimate restaurant once a month, serving a seven-course, seasonal menu to 60 guests over three magical nights. Every seat has sold out since day one.
Now, it’s time for something bigger.
This September, they’re launching the first-ever Luscious Bend Food + Wine Experience — a bold, immersive celebration of food, wine, and community. They’ve partnered with Mt. Bachelor to take over their entire main lodge on Saturday, September 27, 2025, and transform it into a three-story culinary playground for 500 adventurous guests.
Here’s the vision:
10 chefs. 10 farmers. 10 stunning courses. Each team will collaborate to craft a dish that guests will discover as they explore the space.
10 wineries from Oregon and Washington will pour their best wines to expand our love of regional wines.
This isn’t a seated dinner — it’s a full-sensory experience, designed to surprise and delight at every turn.
They’re partnering with Visit Bend to bring food lovers beyond Central Oregon to taste our region's art.
But this is about more than food.
At its heart, the Luscious Bend Food + Wine Experience is about connection. After years of isolation, division, and burnout, we believe what people crave most is each other. We want to create a space where chefs, farmers, artists, and guests come together not just to eat and drink — but to be seen, heard, and valued.
This is a celebration of the humans behind the plates — of the artistry, collaboration, and care that go into creating a meal. We believe that food is one of the most powerful tools we have for building community. When we gather at the table — even one spread across three floors — we remember what matters. We slow down. We reconnect.
Our mission is to build something beautiful and lasting—an annual event that spotlights the culinary talent in Central Oregon and puts people at the center of the experience. We want to change the narrative that this region is only about beer and outdoor adventures. It’s time for food to have its moment.
Think of what Aspen did with their Food + Wine Classic — what started as 150 friends and a few bottles of wine grew into a world-class destination event.
We believe Bend is next. Come be a part of something new.
